Prayer Suggestions for Grandparents

The prayer of a righteous man (grandparent) is powerful and effective.  James 5:16b

Valentine's Day

by Lillian Penner, CGN National Prayer Coordinator

Valentine Day is coming soon. Here is a Valentine suggestion for you. Make a valentine or write in your purchased card for your grandchildren things you are praying for them, each beginning with the letters of their name. It’s a unique way to let them know one of the ways you are specifically praying for them. Below is a list of suggested verses that start with the letters of the alphabet. If a name has duplicate letters, find other Scriptures you can use. Obviously, there are many others Scriptures you can use. You choose.

You may also want to do this for a child’s birthday, a card for in a new baby or a friend’s birthday. Let them know how you specifically prayed for them. Have fun!
